Yes this is Washington DC. What you didn't see on the news was the massive crowd of peaceful protestors collectively demanding justice in the name of countless black people killed by police brutality and racial profiling. Over time when you participate in protests you start noticing that chants are being repeated, anger elevates to newer levels, even the chanting has turned into screaming and crying, and honestly you wonder if this is even having any real impact.....then you find yourself watching a city being destroyed.
The black community is hurting and we have not been okay for many years now. So instead of criticizing the oppressed - do something to help!
